Classes, Immersion, & Service

Through classes, I was able to gain background information on global affairs while integrating that into food insecurities. Meeting people from various backgrounds and having many experiences introduced me to different lifestyles than my own while learning from them.

Capstone Project & Interviewing

Taking global food insecurities and narrowing it down to what I could do was the most challenging part. However, through the micropantry that I implemented, I hope this is able to alleviate some local food insecurities and people know there is somewhere to go that is always open.

Talking with Sophia Day was a great experience as I got to learn about an entire lab dedicated to food insecurities. Hearing about the new pantry and future plans the lab has was inspiring.
